About e-Charity
The Society feedback program is one of Accton's long-standing traditions. Within the last 15 years, Accton has been involved in Various activities such as assisting in establishing the Hospice care in Hsinchu Hospital, offering street cleaning services on the company's 10th birthday, sponsoring the 𤛔Root and Seed𤦎 program of Dr. Jean Good's Foundation, as well as donating medical equipment to the mountain area.
The 9/21 earthquake in 1999 marked the beginning of the E-Charity Foundation, which has since been continuously providing social assistance.
The Toraji and Nari typhoons, which severely struck Taiwan in 2001, encouraged us to set up the emergency aid team to give a hand to thousands of broken families. With this in mind, the E-Charity website (www.e-charity.com.tw) was thus established to provide an effectiveness that is unhindered by physical location, all through the Internet. Many enterprises join in, donating their resources to assist reconstruction and recovery.
In 2002, we extended our reach into every corner of society, and changed our name to E-Charity to empower the assistance of NPOs and NGOs in order to build up a social assistance network with the concept of Donation-Direct Help.
" What looks like it is not important at all is always the most essential part in our life", this is the best definition of Charity. Today we chose to plant our roots in this island and live here just because we love this island and we would like to share our care and love of this society to our children. E-Charity will continually cultivate further charitable works for as long as we are able.
